Prof Solomon and Dr Bain will explain how common events in the life of the bird and in the hen house environment can have a huge impact on egg quality and hence on profitability of a flock. They will also carry out a practical demonstration of common internal and external quality issues.

This is a great opportunity for the table egg and breeding industries to have such specialists doing a live workshop for us and is an opportunity for farmers to bring specimens of problem eggs they commonly see with them on the day.
