Commercial Layers Diets
Corby Layers 105
A ration formulated to meet the energy and protein requirements for hens coming into full production. It may be fed throughout the lay or changed to a step down diet as feed intakes increase. 16wks+
Corby Layers 110
This is a follow on ration from 105, stepping down both the energy and protein levels to maintain good egg size and numbers due to feed intake increasing as bird’s age. 40wks+
Corby Layers 115
End of lay ration with added calcium and lower protein levels to help maintain egg size and egg shell quality towards end of lay.
Free Range Diets
Free Range Stage 1
A ration formulated to meet the energy and protein requirements for hens coming into full production. It may be fed throughout the lay or changed to a step down diet as feed intakes increase. 16 wks+
Free Range Stage 2
This is a follow on ration from the Free Range Stage 1, stepping down both the energy and protein Levels to maintain good egg size and numbers due to feed intake increasing as bird’s age. 40wks+
Free Range Stage 3
End of lay ration with added calcium and lower protein levels to help maintain egg size and egg shell quality towards end of lay. 65wks+.
Specialized Layers Diets
Pre-lay
A pre lay feed higher in calcium than the grower is needed to develop medullary bone reserves before the onset of egg production. Feed to birds from housing up to the point of lay. Other nutrients such as protein and energy are also higher than in the grower diet to build up body reserves before egg production.
HI energy/Early Lay
A HI energy diet ideal for use in layer flocks prior to peak production. It will establish good egg size and egg numbers. Can be used pre-lay if birds are stressed or underweight. Contains high levels of Maize as an energy source.
Rearing Diets
Super Chick Starter
Uniquely formulated to provide a complete balanced diet for all types of poultry chicks. High energy diet ideal for the first 3 wks of life. Contains Monensin as an aid in the prevention of coccidiosis.
Chick Starter
Following on from the super chick starter, the chick starter can be fed up to 8 weeks.
However, it can also be fed as the sole starter from 0-8 weeks. Contains Monensin as an aid in the prevention of coccidiosis.
Chick Grower
Should be fed to birds following a starter diet, 8-16 weeks. Contains quality protein to provide essential amino acids to support rapid muscle, tissue and skeletal development. Fully balanced with minerals and vitamins. Contains Monensin as an aid in the prevention of coccidiosis.
